ABOUT ANALYSIS HAPPINESS

I’m Nizzi Karai Renaud—a psychology researcher and brand executive who blends boardroom insights with the science of happiness.

By day, I navigate corporate strategy, leadership dynamics, and culture through a psychological lens. By night, you’ll find me exploring TikTok theories about TV shows, decoding fictional characters (for research!), or reading policy briefs for fun—seriously.

From Big Brands to Big Questions

I’ve seen how work can suck your soul dry. I’ve watched as life events knock people down—sometimes over and over again. And I’ve seen toxic positivity slap a feel-good sticker on real struggles, making you want to scream rather than “just be grateful.”

I’ve also spent my career figuring out what actually helps.

At places like Etsy, Refinery29, Atari, and Zazzle, I built brands and shaped cultural conversations. But no matter the industry, I kept coming back to the same question:

How do people actually thrive? Not just in some curated, Pinterest-worthy version of life, but in the mess of reality—at work, in relationships, in moments of uncertainty and reinvention.

That question led me beyond corporate leadership and into deeper research on well-being, human behavior, and the science of resilience. I earned a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School, diving into the frameworks behind meaning, happiness, and real success. But degrees don’t change lives—what we do with them does.

Turning Insights into Action

Knowledge without action is just trivia. My goal? Make complex ideas actually useful—without the jargon, without the fluff, and definitely without the empty platitudes.

That’s why I created Analysis Happiness—a space where research meets real life. Here, I unpack big ideas from psychology, culture, and leadership and turn them into something you can actually use—whether that’s in your work, your relationships, or how you see the world.

Well-being isn’t just self-care—it’s about the systems we navigate and the choices we make.

Pop culture isn’t just entertainment—it’s a reflection of our values, struggles, and aspirations.

Human connection is evolving faster than ever—we need to shape it with intention, not just react to it.

I believe well-being isn’t about forcing a smile and “choosing happiness” when everything feels like a dumpster fire. It’s about building real resilience, making meaning, and figuring out what actually helps—not just what looks good on paper.

Why This Matters

I’ve lived across multiple continents, worked in tech startups and global brands, and seen firsthand how people thrive—or burn out—in different environments. I’ve seen how leadership can elevate or break people, how culture shapes everything from our stress levels to our ambitions, and how sometimes the hardest thing to do is admit that something isn’t working.

If there’s one thing I know, thriving isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about understanding the systems around us, questioning the narratives we tell ourselves, and making the small shifts that create big change.

This space is for thinkers, leaders, creatives, and anyone who wants to thrive—not just in theory, but in practice.
